i am interested in fixer up propertys and tax liens to and much more i just need help to prepare me for my future job.
has anyone used any of the get rich quick real estate investing plans like robert allan or carlton sheets and have had any success. What about investing in real estate notes or tax liens are those any good.
What are the benefits of purchasing tax liens. Can a make a home business out of it?
i was read john becks tax lien book thingy, he sort of explains how tax liens work then the rest of the book he just pastes lega l mumbo jumbo for each state. i am confused as to which is better "pure" tax liens for most states or tax liens with right of redemption like georgia ( iam in georgia). can someone explain in simple english terms which is the best to invest in
what is the best way to invest money today, tax liens market or just cds?
I live in CA and will be investing in Real Estate starting with Tax Liens. I need info on necessary forms, documents, etc. to form my own corporation, how and where to file, how to protect my assets and save on taxes. I have read about LLC and Family Limited Partnership for asset protection, but was hoping to do most of the work myself and hire a lawyer only when necessary. Nothing against lawyers, but like to do what I can myself before bringing in a pro! Thanks for any help or advise someone can give me.
Okay, I love the tax advantages of a Roth Individual Retirement Account, but I hate being told what I can and can't invest MY money in. I could put it in a freakin' triangular hole in the ground, if I felt like it. But anyway, I'm looking for a Roth IRA that will allow me to invest in:
1. Lending to people via Prosper.com
2. The deeds to rental properties that pay for themselves and pay into the account
3. Tax liens and/or tax lien certificates
4. Stocks
I want to invest in _all_ of those things. I DO NOT want to invest in annuities, cds, or mutual funds. Those pathetic investments are dead to me.
